Heritage Tour – Knoxville & Marble Springs
June 13 @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Bus leaves GMI at 9:00am
- 10:30am to 11:15am – We will visit Old Knox County Courthouse for ceremony and wreath laying (300 Main Street, Knoxville);
- 11:30am to 1:15pm – Walk to Blount Mansion (Address: 200 W. Hill Ave. Knoxville, TN 37902) for Tour (3 min walk from courthouse), boxed lunch and family meeting.
- 1:30pm to 2:30pm – Walk to East Tennessee Historical Society for private tour. 7 min walk from Blount. Get back on bus for travel to Marble Springs.
- 3:00PM- 4:30pm – Arrive at Marble Springs for tour.
- 5pm – Catered BBQ dinner at Marble Springs.
- 6:00PM– Bus leaves Marble Springs and returns to GMI.
